Ingela Sjösten is an interior architect and designer educated at Konstfack in Stockholm. Her jewelry is timeless, gives character and takes up space. The bracelets are characterized by an iconic shape, inspired by the basic geometric shapes of the circle and the square.
She works with artistic precision in measurements and proportions and moves in the borderland between sculpture and design.
All jewelry is unique, handmade in Jaipur, India, in a small family-owned factory where working conditions and wages are documented to be good. Ingela visits the factory every year and thinks that choosing a supplier is an ethical responsibility that every designer should vouch for.
The company SJOSTENSWEDEN was started by Ingela in January 2015.
