BEDAZZLED.
Hi Jennie! When did you start BEDAZZLED?
I started BEDAZZLED in 2011. The brand emerged after my education at Nyckelviksskolan, where I studied three-dimensional design with a focus on metal. During my studies, I got to explore my passion for creating objects I wished existed – things that, at the time, only existed in my imagination. I developed techniques and increasingly realized that metal is an amazing material. It’s durable over time and can be polished over and over again.
How would you describe your design?
No shrinking violets... more like bold, glittering, and raw jewelry. And timeless with a twist! I also try to add an element of humor that makes me laugh. For me, it’s important that the design stands the test of time, both in quality and style. My jewelry is made of brass and silver, two materials that last a lifetime.

Which was the first piece of jewelry you created?
Good question! It probably wasn’t the very first, but long before I started working with metal, I used to make large necklaces out of buttons that I crocheted together with wire. One of the first rings I made in metal was a really big ring with my phone number engraved on it – I named it "Ring," haha.
What inspires you?
I wish I had a clearer answer, but the truth is that many of my jewelry ideas just pop into my head. I build on thoughts and influences from different places, but it's hard to pinpoint a single source of inspiration. It’s both more fun and more boring than it sounds.
Have you always lived by the motto "less is a bore"?
There are so many talented designers who represent minimalism, but I’ve always been drawn in the opposite direction. I think I want to be part of creating a Swedish maximalism, where playfulness and excess have room to shine.
Tell us about the upcoming design collaboration with WOS!
I’m so excited to soon launch WOS x BEDAZZLED Part 2! WOS and I truly share the same vision of blurring the lines between art and fashion, and we’re also united by our love for stones. WOS x BEDAZZLED Part 1 was a collection of birthstone jewelry. In this collection, the rings will be larger in size, and the stones will really take center stage. I can’t wait to share this with you!
Name one piece of jewelry you can’t live without.
It’s hard to choose, of course, but without rings, I feel naked.
And—do you have a Christmas gift tip?
A Shot always works! It’s a classic ring with an adjustable size, and each Shot ring is adorned with different types of stones, so you can find one that suits the recipient. The Shot ring is a perfect starter piece to get going, but it definitely makes a statement. Just like a shot!
