The speaker always comes last. For instance, you would not say, “My mother insisted that I and my brother eat . . . ” The order must be:2nd person (you)3rd person (my brother)1st person (I)“My mother insisted that you, my brother and I eat . . .&t2821;Tex#ing helped eliminate proper English.
